Wayne National Forest

Much to everybody's surprise, Ohio has a national forest in its southern region. Mostly used for rugged and muddy ATV trails, folks also hike, horseback ride and mountain bike the paths. There are a few that cater more to hikers and one is the challenging, but short route to Tinker's Cave. As you navigate through the forest, you’ll encounter breathtaking natural beauty and the unique allure of Tinker's Cave, perfect for both exploration and storytelling.

Parking/Trailhead: Parking is located along a small gravel pull-off on Burton Hill
Road. Hikers take the rugged trail on the same side as the pull-off.
